Anderson Knight are looking for a Senior Finance Manager to join our clients team based out of their Bristol office.
As the Senior Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all financial activities of the company.
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for developing financial strategies, managing financial planning and analysis, ensuring compliance with regulations and providing insightful financial guidance to senior leadership. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a seasoned finance professional to make a significant impact within a dynamic and forward thinking organisation.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Manage the finance function including accounting, billing and credit control.
- Mentor and develop staff within the team.
- Drive innovation for process improvements and system enhancements whilst ensuring compliance is maintained throughout.
- Ensure monthly, quarterly and annual financial information and reports are prepared and reviewed in accordance with relevant timescales.
- Undertake monthly analysis of business unit performance and trends, working with non-finance managers to control spend and suggest improvements.
- Review monthly balance sheet accounts reconciliation to ensure balances are complete and accurate and that appropriate processes are in place.
- Assist in the preparation of the year end statements and liaise with external auditor.
- Provide financial support across the Group, as required, for a range projects.
- Any other tasks as per requirements.
The successful candidate will be fully qualified and be able to demonstrate proven experience of line management, developing both individuals and wider finance teams to ensure maximise proficiency.
With an analytical mindset, you will have extensive experience in financial analysis and reporting with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights. Our client requires someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross functional teams and work in partnership with non-financial stakeholders.
