Senior Accountant

Anderson Knight Recruitment is delighted to be working with one of our key clients, a prominent and well-established firm in the Property Sector, in their search for a Senior Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and experienced accountant to take a pivotal role in providing high-quality accounts preparation for a portfolio of clients.

Our client is ideally seeking a newly qualified accountant or a part-qualified finalist currently working in practice and ready to make their first move into industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of financial statements and accounts for a diverse range of clients within the Property Sector.
• Managing month-end and year-end accounts processes, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Overseeing client portfolios, providing tailored accounting solutions to meet specific client needs.
• Liaising with clients to clarify financial reports and provide guidance on accounting best practices.
• Assisting with tax computations and liaising with tax advisors to ensure compliance.
• Supporting the implementation of new accounting systems and software where necessary.
• Ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
• Mentoring junior accountants and supporting the wider finance team as needed.

Key Requirements:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with relevant post-qualification experience.
• Proven experience in accounts preparation, ideally within the Property Sector or a related industry.
• Strong technical accounting skills and up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients.
• Ability to manage multiple client portfolios and work to tight deadlines.
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities.
