Anderson Knight is recruiting for a Secretary for our client based in Glasgow.

This role is to provide daily audio typing support to Fund Managers and Customer Service Executives to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely administration of client correspondence.

35 hours per week 9am till 5pm. Due to the nature of the role, it requires office-based working.

Main duties and responsibilities are:

• Perform audio typing to transcribe and document information accurately.

• Monitor and manage email communications to ensure timely responses and follow-ups.

• Create and manage mail merges for mass correspondence efficiently.

• Assemble comprehensive Client Meeting Packs for scheduled meetings.

• Update and maintain scratch pads with relevant client information and notes.

• Generate accurate client valuations regularly.

• Prepare detailed cash statements for client accounts.

• Maintain and update client records, reporting any errors or discrepancies promptly.

• Produce quarterly statements for clients with precise financial information.

• Ensure all correspondence meets high standards of quality and professionalism.

• Provide support to other areas within the Glasgow branch as needed.

• Undertake various ad hoc projects as assigned to support overall branch operations.

Key attributes and skills:

• Strong working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.

• Experience with Audio typing or similar is required.

• Methodical with a good attention to detail.

• Strong written and verbal skills.

• Develop and maintain strong working relationships within the team and external sources.

• Experience working in a similar role in Financial Services would be of interest but is not essential.
