Anderson Knight is recruiting for a Quality Assurance Administrator for our client based in Glasgow.
You will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving product or service quality within the organisation. You will work across teams to ensure that standards are met, issues are identified and resolved, and quality management systems are properly implemented.
Typically, you will be working Monday to Friday office based until training is complete and then a hybrid option of 2 days working from home is available.
Main duties and responsibilities are:
• Create and maintain quality assurance procedures, policies, and standards to ensure product/service consistency.
• Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations, safety standards, and organisational goals.
• Oversee day-to-day quality control operations, including the inspection and testing of materials, equipment, and products.
• Ensure that manufacturing or service processes are in line with established quality standards.
• Conduct internal audits of quality systems, documentation, and processes.
• Identify areas of improvement in operations, workflows, or products through regular reviews and evaluations.
• Prepare quality reports, summarising findings from audits, inspections, and testing.
• Document non-conformance’s and corrective actions, ensuring that records are properly maintained.
• Communicate quality issues and feedback to cross-functional teams and management.
• Assess the quality of materials supplied by vendors and monitor supplier performance.
• Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues and ensure that external inputs meet required standards.
Key attributes and skills:
• Extensive administration knowledge on Excel and Microsoft packages.
• Strong organisational skills with an excellent eye for detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and document management systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
