Anderson Knight Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client based in Lenzie for a proactive and organised Part-Time Administrator to join their busy office team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied administrative role and takes pride in keeping an office running efficiently. Working closely with the Director and Office Manager, you will provide day-to-day administrative support across a range of business functions, making you a key part of the team.

Hours

  • 20 hours per week, 4 days per week (Monday to Friday)
  • Working hours can be 9:00am–2:00pm, 9:30am–2:30pm, or 10:00am–3:00pm. Once agreed, your working pattern will remain fixed.

Hourly Rate

  • £13.80 p/h

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing general administrative support to the Director and Office Manager.
  • Handling incoming telephone calls and email enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Preparing and formatting documents using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Collating files and maintaining organised electronic and paper filing systems.
  • Updating records, databases and ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
  • Assisting with the preparation of weekly staff rotas, timesheets, holiday records and other workforce administration.
  • Preparing correspondence, reports and general office documentation.
  • Supporting with invoicing and other day-to-day office administration duties.
  • Providing administrative assistance to the wider team as required.

 

About You

  • Previous experience in an administrative or office support role is desirable.
  • Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Able to work independently while also contributing as part of a collaborative team.
  • A positive, reliable and proactive approach to work.
