Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on support to solicitors with case preparation, filings, and trial support
- Draft, review, and organise legal documents and correspondence with precision
- Conduct legal research and present clear, concise summaries
- Manage case files, deadlines, court submissions, and legal calendars
- Act as a professional point of contact for clients, courts, and third parties
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with legal procedures at all times
Qualifications
- Paralegal certificate or associate’s degree in paralegal studies (or equivalent practical experience), must be in Scottish Law
- Previous experience in a paralegal or legal assistant role is advantageous
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisational ability with a keen eye for detail
- Confident user of Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
- Able to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
