Anderson Knight is delighted to be recruiting a Manufacturing Salesperson for a client within the manufaturing sector. This position is ideal for someone with manufacturing sales experience who thrives on building relationships, closing deals and contributing directly to business success.
The Role
- Take ownership of a portfolio of accounts, driving repeat business while proactively identifying and converting new sales opportunities over the phone.
- Leverage your understanding of manufacturing processes and products to confidently engage customers, identify needs, and offer effective solutions.
- Collaborate closely with the wider sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Accurately record customer interactions, opportunities, and market insights.
- Coordinate closely with production teams to ensure customer requirements are delivered efficiently and on time.
- Manage customer queries and resolve issues quickly, maintaining strong and lasting relationships.
- Support the day-to-day running of the sales office, ensuring a smooth and organised operation.
About You
This role is perfect for a commercially driven individual who enjoys the challenge of sales within a manufacturing setting and is motivated by results.
- Previous experience in a sales role, ideally within manufacturing, construction materials, or a related B2B environment.
- A strong understanding of manufacturing or production-led sales processes is highly advantageous.
- A target-driven mindset with a passion for winning business and growing accounts.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence over the phone and via email.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with ERP/CRM systems is beneficial.
- High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
- Flexibility to travel between sites when required.
