Anderson Knight is recruiting for a Legal PA on behalf of our client, a leading professional services firm based in Edinburgh.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy legal team, providing high-quality PA, administrative and secretarial support to fee earners within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the team while delivering an exceptional level of service to both internal and external clients.

Salary: Up to £33,000 DOE
Location: Edinburgh
Working Pattern: Hybrid – 50% office-based over a two-week period

Key Responsibilities:
• Proactively manage complex diaries, meetings, travel arrangements, room bookings and related logistics.
• Produce, amend and format correspondence, legal documents, presentations and reports using Microsoft Office and document management systems.
• Manage client and matter opening and closing processes, including conflict checks, AML procedures and engagement documentation.
• Monitor and manage fee earners’ inboxes, prioritising emails and ensuring timely responses during absences.
• Coordinate billing processes, invoice production, expense claims and client fee portal requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a professional first point of contact.
• Organise team meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes where required and coordinate follow-up actions.
• Maintain accurate client records, databases and document management systems.
• Coordinate training, team events and other ad hoc administrative tasks.
• Liaise regularly with internal support teams including Finance, IT, Marketing, Facilities and Reception.
• Provide wider support across the PA team when required, ensuring seamless service delivery.

Skills & Experience:
• Previous experience as a Legal PA, Executive Assistant or within a professional services environment.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, adaptable and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Strong IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Experience within a legal environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
