Anderson Knight is recruiting a Legal EA for our clients based in Edinburgh.

You will work collaboratively as part of a team, providing executive assistant and administrative support to the personal team and the wider Personal and Family practice area. This role is key to ensuring we deliver an efficient, high-quality service to the client’s external clients.

Salary: Up to £33,000

Key Responsibilities:
•    Provide comprehensive diary, email, and meeting management, ensuring lawyers and paralegals are fully prepared.
•    Handle incoming client queries and communications professionally, maintaining strong client service standards.
•    Manage documents and correspondence, including drafting, proofreading, filing, and maintaining the document management system.
•    Support billing and finance processes, including expenses, invoices, and time recording.
•    Maintain and update internal systems, databases, and contact lists to ensure accurate records.
•    Assist with case management, trust bibles, and the preparation of engagement letters and legal documents.
•    Coordinate travel, accommodation, events, and team logistics.
•    Liaise with colleagues to ensure work is completed within timescales, providing cover during holidays or absences.
•    Undertake specialist administrative tasks in areas such as finance, marketing, and business development.
•    Collaborate with other executive assistants and contribute to maintaining a well-organised, efficient office environment.

Requirements:
•    Proven experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or in a similar role, ideally within a busy Private Client team.
•    Highly organised, able to prioritise and manage time effectively while working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, confident in dealing with clients and colleagues at all levels.
•    A strong team player with a proactive, flexible, and adaptable approach to changing priorities and workloads.
•    Professional in presentation and attitude, with a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
•    Self-motivated, commercially aware, and able to use initiative to work independently.
•    Willingness to occasionally work flexible hours and provide support across different practice areas when required.
