Anderson Knight Recruitment is currently looking for a Learning & Development Adviser to support a well-established organisation based on the outskirts of Edinburgh. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in developing, delivering, and shaping learning solutions that enhance employee growth and organisational success.
The Learning & Development Adviser will collaborate closely with employees across multiple locations, ensuring that staff development is consistent and of the highest standard. This position is integral to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning, essential for the organisation’s ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver dynamic learning solutions in a variety of formats, including classroom training, online modules, and one-to-one coaching (with occasional travel required).
- Provide on-the-job coaching and mentoring to staff to improve performance and support their career development.
- Develop interactive, engaging learning interventions that cater to different learning preferences and meet business needs.
- Create and maintain e-learning modules, ensuring they are up-to-date and relevant.
- Assist in the creation of a comprehensive video training library.
- Regularly review and update learning materials to maintain their accuracy and relevance.
- Support the delivery of leadership and management development programs.
- Participate in ongoing learning and development projects to drive continuous improvement across the organisation.
What we’re looking for…
One of the following Qualifications:
- CIPD Certificate in Training Practice, Level 4 PTLLS or higher, Level 3 Award in Education and Training, Level 3 Award in Delivering Training (or equivalent), Level 3 or 4 NVQ in Training and/or Development
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in the retail industry or a similar sector, with a strong understanding of training and development needs.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring employees, both in the classroom and through virtual platforms.
- Expertise in various learning methodologies, with the creativity to design engaging, interactive, and learner-centred content.
- Proficiency with online learning tools, content management systems, and e-learning development.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring training materials are accurate and up-to-date.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and connect with employees across multiple locations.
Other Requirements:
- Full clean driving licence is required for travel between locations.
