Anderson Knight is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a leading aviation company for a Key Account Manager to join its Charter Services team based in Glasgow.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused and customer-driven professional to manage key client relationships within a busy Contract Flying operation. You’ll be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience while working closely with clients, brokers and internal teams to ensure high service standards, operational excellence and continued business growth.
This role is ideal for someone with a background in account management, customer engagement or service delivery who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 DOE
Hours: 35 hours per week
What You’ll Be Doing
• Acting as the main point of contact for key Contract Flying customers, brokers and other stakeholders
• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships to ensure exceptional service and encourage repeat business
• Monitoring operational performance against KPIs, identifying trends and implementing service improvements
• Producing monthly and quarterly performance reports, presenting key insights and recommendations to customers and senior management
• Planning and leading customer review meetings, ensuring clear communication and effective follow-up actions
• Working collaboratively with Operations, Engineering, Flight Support and Finance to deliver a seamless customer experience
• Supporting commercial activities including quotations, tender submissions, pricing proposals and business opportunities
• Coordinating invoicing with Finance to ensure accurate and timely billing
• Preparing professional customer presentations and service review documentation
• Identifying opportunities to improve customer experience, operational processes and service delivery
• Supporting the wider Charter Services team as required
What We’re Looking For
• Previous experience in account management, customer engagement or service delivery
• A commercially minded approach with experience preparing quotations, proposals or tender responses
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build lasting relationships
• Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting performance data and producing meaningful reports
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Advanced Microsoft 365 skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Previous aviation experience would be advantageous but is not essential
