We are recruiting a Part-Time HR Officer to join our clients dynamic and growing organisation on a permanent basis. Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Part-Time HR Officer to join their business and contribute to the success of their company.

The part time working schedule can be flexible based on mutual agreement, ideally between 16-24 hours per week, working onsite on the outskirts of Glasgow.

Position Overview:

As a Part-Time HR Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the wider business with all HR queries and administration, you will be responsible for handling various HR-related tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting to candidate selection.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees.
  • Handle employee enquiries and provide support on HR-related matters.
  • Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Stay updated on employment laws and regulations to ensure legal compliance.
  • Assist in the coordination of training and development programs.
  • Implement and communicate HR policies effectively.
  • Support the performance appraisal process and provide guidance to managers.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of employee development plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Handle HR-related documentation, including contracts and confidentiality agreements.

 

Role Criteria:

  • Proven experience as an HR Officer or similar role.
  • Knowledge of HR functions, policies, and procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems.
