Anderson Knight are working exclusively with a client based in Lanarkshire who are looking for a HR Business Partner. This is a full time, permanent position with hybrid working (3 days at home, 2 days in the office).

Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Collaborate with the operational and People teams to offer people-related support to the division.
  • Partner with the Senior People Partner to develop and implement people initiatives that drive company and divisional success.
  • Provide proactive support to managers throughout the colleague life cycle, including case management and Employee Relations issues such as performance management, absence management, discipline, and grievance.
  • Ensure the divisional team effectively utilizes the organisation’s people processes and systems.
  • Promote the business as an employer and oversee recruitment and assessment processes to attract top talent.
  • Manage employee rewards in line with company policies and coordinate with the payroll team.
  • Assist the People Coordinator with the Exit Interview process, trend analysis, and strategic improvement recommendations.
  • Advocate for employee wellbeing and collaborate with the Occupational Health and HSQE team.
  • Process employee data in compliance with GDPR.
  • Share knowledge of best HR practices and employment legislation with colleagues.
  • Lead specific group HR processes and initiatives, including policy updates, early careers development, and colleague well-being.
  • Aid new and emerging divisions with recruitment and retention strategies, including benchmarking and role profile development.
  • Assist with TUPE requirements.

Experience, Qualifications & Skills 

• Previous experience within a similar role

• CIPD qualified or equivalent

• Excellent knowledge of employment law and people practices

• Previous experience of working under pressure with multiple demands

• Excellent relationship management skills

• Excellent communication skills
