Anderson Knight are recruiting a HR Business Partner for a full time, permanent position based in Renfrewshire. This is a crucial role for an HR generalist who excels in influencing, communicating, and building relationships with stakeholders at all levels, due to the nature of the role, you will be based onsite full time, with some flexibility on start/finish times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic HR Partnership: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Employee Relations: Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to both employees and managers.
  • Talent Management: Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and retention processes to ensure we attract and retain top talent.
  • Performance Management: Implement and manage performance appraisal systems, ensuring clear communication of expectations and regular feedback.
  • Training & Development: Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Policy Development: Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Change Management: Support the business through organisational changes, providing expertise on best practices and minimising disruption.
  • HR Metrics & Reporting: Track and analyse HR metrics to identify trends and make data-driven decisions.

Key Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of HR generalist experience, preferably within the construction or related industry.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. CIPD qualification is highly desirable.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and support stakeholders at all levels.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive and solutions-oriented approach to addressing HR challenges.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of employment law and best HR practices.
  • Technology: Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
