Anderson Knight Recruitment are looking for a HR Adviser to join our clients business based in the outskirts of Glasgow, on a full time permanent basis, this is a hybrid working role after the initial training period, with some travel around Scotland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and support to managers and employees on all aspects of Employee Relations, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and performance management.
  • Manage and resolve complex ER cases, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints and disputes, and recommend appropriate resolutions.
  • Develop and implement ER policies and procedures to promote a fair and consistent approach to employee issues.
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues to design and deliver training sessions on ER topics, including conflict resolution and effective communication.
  • Analyse ER trends and metrics to develop proactive strategies for improving employee engagement and minimising workplace issues.
  • Act as a mediator in conflict situations to facilitate effective resolution and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in employment law and best practices in Employee Relations.
  • Assist in the development and execution of employee engagement initiatives and programs.

Skills & Experience:

  • HR qualification would be preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an HR role with a focus on Employee Relations.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with employees at all levels.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
