Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Pay and Reward to join our clients team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This pivotal role will be based in Lanarkshire two days per week and offers a competitive salary of up to £70,000. The successful candidate will lead the Pay and Reward function, ensuring compensation and benefits programs are competitive, equitable, and aligned with the companies goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive pay and reward strategies that support the organisation’s objectives.
  • Lead the annual salary review process, including benchmarking and market analysis.
  • Oversee the design and administration of employee benefits programs.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and best practices in compensation and benefits.
  • Provide expert advice to senior management on all aspects of pay and reward.
  • Manage the pay and reward team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Analyse and report on pay and reward data to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with HR and other departments to integrate pay and reward strategies with broader organisational initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a senior pay and reward role, ideally within a large organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
