Anderson Knight is delighted to be partnering with a leading UK organisation as they look to appoint an experienced Head of HR to join their senior leadership team. This is a high-impact role where you will have full responsibility for the HR function across the UK, working in close collaboration with the Managing Director and senior business leaders. We are seeking a dynamic and collaborative leader with a proven track record of delivering HR excellence in a fast-paced, multi-site environment. You will be passionate about people, commercially focused, and able to influence and inspire colleagues at every level of the business.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide both strategic direction and hands-on leadership of the HR function across the UK.
- Act as a trusted advisor and coach to the leadership team on all HR and people-related matters.
- Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, well-being, and organisational culture.
- Oversee the entire employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, development, reward, retention, and exit processes.
- Manage employee relations, organisational planning, succession management, and skills development.
- Ensure all HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements remain robust, up-to-date, and aligned with business needs.
- Design and deliver impactful training and development programmes, including future leadership pathways.
- Develop and monitor HR metrics and reporting to drive organisational performance and continuous improvement.
Experience & Qualifications:
- CIPD qualified (or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a broad, generalist HR leadership role.
- Strong track record of implementing initiatives that improve employee engagement and organisational culture.
- Demonstrable experience in employee relations, training & development, and reward management.
- Excellent organisational, influencing, and coaching skills, with the ability to engage and inspire stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, or engineering environments is highly desirable.
