Anderson Knight are delighted to be retained by our client who are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to become the senior finance leader at one of their flagship manufacturing sites. With an annual turnover of c.£100 million, this is a highly visible role where you’ll work at the heart of the operation, influencing key business decisions and driving commercial performance.
The role will combine financial control, strategic business partnering and operational finance leadership. You’ll play a key role in supporting site performance, driving continuous improvement and providing financial insight that shapes business decisions.
This is an exciting time to join the business. A significant capital investment programme is nearing completion to service a major new customer contract. You’ll be instrumental in helping the site maximise these opportunities and deliver sustainable growth.Working closely with the Site Lead and cross-functional teams, you’ll provide financial leadership across operations, helping the business make informed decisions that improve profitability, efficiency and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the senior finance business partner for the manufacturing site, providing commercial challenge and strategic financial support.
- Deliver insightful weekly P&L reporting and performance analysis to operational leadership.
- Lead the site’s forecasting, budgeting and financial planning activities, ensuring demand, inventory and labour plans align with customer requirements.
- Partner closely with Operations, Continuous Improvement, Commercial and Sales teams to drive operational and financial performance.
- Support major capital investment projects and new customer implementations through robust financial analysis and decision support.
- Produce accurate month-end reporting for submission to Central Finance, with Group consolidation and FP&A managed centrally.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance reporting, automate manual activities and strengthen financial controls.
- Provide meaningful commercial insight that supports operational decision-making and long-term business growth.
- Build strong relationships across the site, influencing stakeholders and constructively challenging where appropriate.
About You
You’ll be a qualified finance professional (ACCA, CA, CIMA) with a strong manufacturing background and a proven ability to operate within a fast-paced operational environment.
You’ll bring:

- Experience supporting forecasting, demand planning, inventory and labour cost management.
