Anderson Knight is recruiting an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join our client’s team in Liverpool on a full-time FTC basis until June 2025. This role entails managing the relationship between the business and its employees within a transparent framework aligned with their Values and employment law. You will resolve Employee Relations (ER) issues, support diversity & inclusion, drive performance, and maintain compliance.

Responsibilities:

•    Handle ER issues: conduct, performance, grievances, sickness, Dignity at Work, and discrimination.
•    Coach line managers on ER matters and ensure compliance with policies.
•    Support diversity & inclusion initiatives.
•    Assist in performance management and policy development.
•    Maintain ER records and analyse data for improvement.
•    Keep stakeholders informed of ER issues.
•    Ensure compliance with legislation and robust grievance/disciplinary practices.
•    Promote D&I through consistent policy deployment.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong grasp of UK employment law.
  • Understanding of the impact of ER on organisational culture.
  • Collaborative problem-solving and consultancy skills.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in UK employment law; CIPD membership preferred.
  • Experience in ER and keeping abreast of legislative changes.
  • Qualifications in employment law or mediation desirable.
