Anderson Knight is thrilled to be partnering with a leading organisation in Uddingston to recruit an experienced Credit Controller to join their busy and growing finance team. This is a fantastic permanent opportunity offering stability, development, and a chance to make a real impact in a dynamic business environment.

💼 What You’ll Be Doing:

As a key player in the finance department, you’ll take charge of managing high volumes of accounts while maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal teams. You’ll be the go-to person for keeping debt under control and ensuring financial accuracy across the board.

Day-to-day, you’ll:

• Take ownership of high-volume account management
• Proactively chase outstanding payments and resolve queries with both customers and internal branches
• Perform account reconciliations and support weekly/monthly debt reviews
• Maintain and update customer records and databases with progress reports
• Issue credit paperwork and re-send invoices/credits when needed
• Upload delivery notes and send out customer statements
• Play a key role in improving cash flow and reducing aged debt

✨ What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a Credit Control role is essential
• Strong working knowledge of finance/accounting systems
• A confident communicator who enjoys problem-solving and building strong working relationships
• Organised, driven, and not afraid to pick up the phone

📍 Location: Office-based in Uddingston
💰 Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum
