Anderson Knight is recruiting for a Content and Document Specialist. This role involves creating and formatting high-quality documents, with a strong emphasis on proficiency in Microsoft Word and Foxit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit, amend, and format documents for accuracy, clarity, and consistency with the firm’s house style.
- Meet deadlines set by fee earners and proactively communicate if time constraints cannot be met.
- Handle phone calls, emails, and Teams messages, taking clear instructions regarding document requirements.
- Report document or printer issues to IT support and assist with troubleshooting.
- Communicate regularly with coordinators to keep them updated on document progress.
- Assist with special projects, client-specific document formatting, and updating templates as required.
- Transcribe dictations accurately and within agreed timeframes.
- Support the PA team with document queries, sharing knowledge, and identifying any training needs.
- Collaborate with IT and Smarter Working teams on software updates and formatting projects.
- Assist with Bundledocs and other ad-hoc tasks as directed by line managers or fee earners.
Candidate Profile/Technical Skills:
Essential:
- Strong organisational, technical, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
- Previous experience in a document production role with advanced Word skills (styles, cross-referencing, track changes, TOC).
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Desirable:
- Experience within the legal sector.
