Working closely with Clients and Supply Chain Members, they offer a full project service from early inception, through the design process to installation and completion, utilising the latest processes and technology available today to deliver the highest standard of finish on time and on budget.

About the role
Commercial Manager.
The purpose of the job is to manage a safe, efficient, cost effective and customer focused delivery service by ensuring that successful, profitable engineered project solutions which comply with legislation and client specification are delivered. This work is of a non-routine nature across the area of our operations and expertise. Maintain and develop excellent relationships with the customer. Ensure the effective management and utilisation of resources is applied therefore providing continuous quality service.

Duties and Responsibilities: –

• You will be responsible for managing a team of Project Managers, working closely with the sales and commercial team,
• you will help to coordinate the operational delivery of projects,
• overseeing the process from project award, liaising with the in-house manufacturing team, logistics/fleet and site fitters.
• Ensuring deadlines are met or exceeded and projects are delivered on time and any delays or disruptions are kept to a minimum.

In addition to the operational management duties, you will be commercial minded, analysing costs and value engineering to ensure budgets are maintained and any profits (GP) will form the basis of a highly rewarding incentive scheme. It’s likely this person will have gained prior exposure in the Construction Industry, working in a Project Management, Contracts Management or Operations function on commercial projects, where you have had the contractor/subcontractor interface.
