Collections Advisor

We are seeking a dedicated Collections Agent to join our clients growing financial services team in Glasgow. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring that overdue payments are recovered in a professional and compassionate manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contact customers via phone, email, and written communication to resolve outstanding balances.
- Negotiate payment arrangements and agree on sustainable solutions.
- Provide clear and accurate information to customers regarding their accounts.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and agreements using internal systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams to escalate complex cases when necessary.

- Previous experience in collections, customer service, or a financial services environment preferred.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
- Problem-solving mindset with a customer-centric approach.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
