Anderson Knight working with a leading organisation within the financial services industry. They are looking to recruit a Collections Handler to join the organisation with the scope of focusing on undertaking collection activities as directed to support customers in arrears and seek solutions which deliver good customer outcomes.

Shifts are allocated to cover service during working hours on a rotational basis, flexibility is required, hybrid working is available upon completion of training (5-6 weeks).

Hours – Mon-Fri 08:00-20:00

Weekends – 09:00-18:00

Key Responsibilities:

•   Perform all aspects of collections activity in alignment with business policies, procedures, and strategy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

•   Manage and control arrears cases with a focus on achieving positive outcomes for both the company and customers, utilising effective strategies to minimize losses.

•   Handle incoming and outgoing collection calls professionally and courteously, updating records accurately based on the outcomes of each interaction.

•   Ensure that performance levels are maintained, and targets are met consistently, taking proactive measures to address any deviations from established benchmarks.

•   Accurately complete income and expenditure assessments where appropriate, utilising financial data to make informed decisions regarding customer affordability on repayment solutions.

•   Demonstrate a strong telephone manner with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively while negotiating positive outcomes with customers.

Requirements:

•   Previous experience in collections environment.

•   Experience working within a collections role is preferred.

•   Able to demonstrate working knowledge of TCF principles.

•   A positive mindset.

•   Open and transparent.

•   Attention to detail.
