Anderson Knight is excited to be partnering with an innovative and fast-growing packaging company in East Kilbride to recruit a high-performing Business Development Manager.

Blending office-based work with field sales across the Central Belt, this Monday to Friday role (9:00am – 5:00pm) offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to directly influence business success.

The Role

  • Take the lead in developing and executing ambitious growth strategies, unlocking new markets and driving revenue across the Central Belt of Scotland.
  • Build, develop, and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with both new and existing clients, maximising every sales opportunity.
  • Stay ahead of the competition by analysing market trends, competitor activity, and evolving customer needs to spot opportunities before others do.
  • Deliver compelling proposals and presentations that clearly showcase value and set the business apart in a competitive marketplace.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to ensure business development strategies are aligned and impactful.
  • Represent the company at networking events, exhibitions, and industry functions, strengthening brand presence and expanding your professional network.
  • Confidently negotiate and close deals, delivering strong commercial outcomes and long-term partnerships.
