We recently came together at Anderson Knight Recruitment to celebrate Christmas Jumper Day, enjoying a brilliant festive day as a team.
The day was filled with seasonal cheer, from delicious homemade Christmas cupcakes and cheesecake courtesy of Nicole, to a team lunch from Wingstop, followed by a festive visit to the St Enoch Christmas Markets. It was a great opportunity to step away from our desks, enjoy each other’s company, and embrace the spirit of the season.
This year, we made a conscious decision to do things a little differently. Instead of hosting a Secret Santa, we chose to donate our Christmas Jumper Day pledges to Children First, a charity dedicated to supporting children in need and those living in poverty. Giving back in this way felt like a meaningful way to mark the occasion and reflect the values that are important to us as a business.
At Anderson Knight, we believe that building a strong workplace culture goes hand in hand with supporting our wider community. We would encourage any organisations or individuals who are able to consider a similar approach in the future — it’s a simple yet impactful way to celebrate the festive season while making a real difference.
